I'm a french guy who got is master degree in business and finance and left his country to travel the world. I left for 3 years but it's been 4 already and I'm not really when I'll go back home.
I've already lived abroad for a while in Montreal for my studies, in London to learn english, but also in Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia to finance my world trip. I think traveling got me like everyone else who starts it !

I only had one real CS expérience (I mean using the website ) in Bandar Seri Begawan which went well, but I've got a lot of experiences with locals people in different countries and I think couchsurfing is one of the best way to travel as you meet locals and can have a glimpse of what is it like to live there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, share with them. I also think that is the best way to travel and discover a country !
I started using the website during my world trip as I've got hosted by locals in Jakarta and loved it.
After my experience in Brunei I tried to use it many times but as I am a really bad planner I've always sent last minute messages and never got answer in time ahahah I'll try to be better in the future :)

Interests

Well is it necessary to say that I love to travel ?
I like sports especially football (my team is the PSG as I'm from Paris :) and climbing, I've started to climb maybe before to know how to walk properly from then I've always been tempted by the heights. Lately I've started being interested in Urbex but not the "walking around" kind, I prefer the uncommon kind, as climbing up buildings, visiting abandonned stuff, and so on... Sadly I didn't meet yet people who are really into this kind of stuff !

I love watching movies, if you host me I can probably give you some as I always carry my hardrive with about a 1000 of them ! I'm not really into series, but lately I've been watching few of them like Game of Thrones and Viking.

I used to be a big party-animal back in France, at one point I was going to party almost everyday, but now I'm a budget traveler so I can't afford massive parties, but anyway I'm always keen for a drink ;)

As a french guy I also do love wine and good food, I'm curious about the food from all around the world, and I like spicy stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm watching every kind of them. I would say that my favorite kinds are fantastic/adventure/sci fi but I'm really watching everything, well I'm not a big fan of horror movies but I can still watch them.
I'm not sure if I can really tell which are my fav movies, I love to many of them but sure there is the Lord of the rings as I'm a big fan of Tolkien.

Books : I've read all the Tolkien books ! I'm reading mostly fantastics I like this kind of book where you are in a total immersion in a new world but lately I've been reading "down-to-earth" books about urbex or psychology.

Musics: I'm really open minded. My music player is always in shuffle mode playing a whole range from classical to electronic musics. But my heart is beating for psytrance music, there is nothing better to party !!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say the world trip I'm doing and all the experiences that come with it are the best things I've ever done. I could do a list, but let's keep that for when I meet you ;)

I don't know if I can teach anything, but for sure I can share my experiences and I'm always ready to learn :-)
