Overview
About Me
I graduated high-school last year, and am currently on a gap year. I play a lot of music and have done so for most of my life. My main instrument is the double bass.
I also quite enjoy reading and the sport fencing.
Next year I'll be studying a dual degree of engineering, and information technology.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm going on an international tour with Queensland Youth Symphony at the end of the year, and I'm staying on in Germany. To make the most of my time in Europe I want to engage with locals and give back in turn; exchange and learn more about European cultures and history, and to hopefully meet more people and make more friends than I otherwise would have living in hotels and hostels.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite book I've read is 'The First Man in Rome' by Colleen McCollough. Its the first in a seven-part historical fiction series called 'The Masters of Rome'.
I'm really into classical music, my favourite composers being Shostakovich, Brahms, Strauss, and Ravel. For non-classical music I also quite like Tame Impala and Queen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd really love to improve my German speaking skills, as I think I'd like to move and work there one day.
