Hi y'all!! I'm a 23 year old male from the United States. I've just finished my undergraduate degree in engineering in Texas, and now I'm headed out to see as much as I can in Asia! I speak English, Mandarin, and Spanish, but would love to learn how to say "hello, I'm hungry" in as many languages as I can :). I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures and cuisines, and am excited to learn a lot in the next few months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the main reasons I'm traveling is to meet new people and learn about how cities around the world operate. Couchsurfing seems like an awesome opportunity to meet people and learn about a new way of life, and it has the plus that it's pretty cheap :).

Interests

I like writing code and studying the world, right now I'm interested in magnetism and city design. I'm really interested in how the cities we build around us influence our lives and interests, as well as how we can learn to grow and share culture in the most effective way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Tom Misch, FKJ, Princess Nokia, Thundercat, Noname, and Anderson Paak to name a few. It's a bit funky and has some influence from R&B. Most of the books I read are scientific, and my favorite movies are too (Interstellar) but I'm also a huge fan of Miyazaki films.
