Hello everyone,

I am a passionate traveler and love to meet new people. There is nothing that ever has made me grow and learn so much within an as extremely a short time as traveling and living in other countries. I love to learn about cultures, different life styles, attitudes, and, of course, cuisine! ;-)

I'm a very easy personalitt, enjoy being on this planet and, thus, am a considerate human being! I love nature and make sure my ecological footstep is minimal. My motto is: Respect, enjoy, love, be mindful and let others live. Life is not worth the hassle! And so I live my beautiful life alongside all the other wonderful creatures sharing this great world with us, and try to be as respectful, mindful and thoughtful a living being as possible.

I believe in self-fulfillment: What and who you are is completely up to you! I believe in the law of attraction and keep saying "your mind forms your world". So I do my best to be positive and make the most out of everything given to me and be grateful for what I have.
And if you want to learn something new or do something exciting, reach out to the world and go for it! It is never too late :-)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Why? Because I want to make the world my home, not just a single city or area within one country! I wish to live, learn, and evolve while having a great time with a great host!

I love to learn about our world and what drives people. Why are different people acting so differently, eating food so differently from others', what is it that makes people be happier in one country than another, and why are some countries in such a much more advanced economic state? There are many questions we I am looking forward to finding out.

And how can one learn about all these things better than from a local who can show us around and tell us about his or her home town and country?

That is, why I am on Couchsurfing :-)

Music: Anything and everything.
I like soft/pop rock and also some old rap and hip hop occasionally.
I love to listen to Reggae, such a positive music genre that makes people connect and feel love.
I also like to dance and party to the above mentioned or melodic electric music such as tropical house.

Movies: Everything that makes fun. Especially comedies, thrillers, and fantasy, but usually no horror or blood splatter stuff.

Books: I usually only read textbooks I can learn something from, generally related to the research field I have so fallen in love with, such as "Irrational exuberance", "Thinking, Fast and Slow", "Predictably Irrational", "Nudge", "Random Walk Down Wall Street", "Black Swan" etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I travelled and road tripped the United States for a bit while I was a student there (for roughly 15 months in total). It was a great experience and adventure and definitely worth if you bring enough time. The country is huge!
But even more exciting was my 6 months long journey in New Zealand. It's such a much better and more inspiring country! Such a lovely place, full of amazing people!
I also did a bungy jump in Queenstown, NZ. Jeez, what a dreadful experience! In June, I got a position as a backpacker actor in a Mazda commercial for a ute which aired in July 2017. I love the simplicity of New Zealand! :-D

I love to explore nature: I hiked the mountains of New Zealand (e.g. the Tongariro Alpine crossing, Mt. Taranaki, etc.), some tracks in the Milford Sound area, the Abel Tasman Coastal Walk, Mt. Cook and many other regions in New Zealand. I am hoping to get to enjoy my next destination just as much as the previous: Thailand!
