Hello peoples,

I'm Thomas, born in the Netherlands and i'm 23 years of age. I just finished my bachelor studies in Geoscience in Utrecht. I'll be taking a gap year till September '18, and I hope to see lots and lots of australia this year.

My travel experiences so far have been traveling to Brazil (Natal), Thailand, South Africa, USA West coast and a few countries in Europe. Before I start my master studies, I want to travel a bit and see what people on the other side of the world do in their spare time.

Next to my study I play squash, hang out with friends, play soccer, go on hikes, run, go to general lectures, see movies, work as a mover, or gardener at my grandmother's house.

My music taste ranges from jazz to hiphop to disco and house like max graef, mall grab, leon vynehall, st. germain.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think the most important reason for me is that with couchsurfing, you meet locals and learn more about traditions than in Hostels. When I was interraling in Europe (Berlin-Prague-Pula-Vienna-Budapest-ljubljana) I've visited loads of Hostels and the people were most of the time only down to party and nothing more than that. I think that with couchsurfing you can have more experiences and learn more about the place I visit.
