About Me
Hello, I'm a student at SOAS, part of the University of London and am on a year abroad in Egypt and Iran. I don't think I will ever get bored finding out about new places through the help of people who know best.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To hopefully be lucky enough to meet interesting people who can help me learn about their country.

Music, Movies, and Books
All impossible questions but if I had to choose an author it would be Peter De Vries. Another of my favourite writers, Christopher Hitchens, said of De Vries that few can write one book that makes you laugh so much, then write another that makes you weep. Case in point: The Mackerel Plaza and The Blood of the Lamb (you have been warned.)
Favourite film is probably The Deer Hunter. I enjoyed The Seventh Seal a lot and recently found Phantom Thread interesting. Although found it unbearable at first.
Favourite music would probably be all of the Marriage of Figaro.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can't say yet as there's so much more to do.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a CELTA qualified English teacher and have taught many times at schools in the UK and at the British Council in Alexandria, Egypt.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Specifically I'm happy to help with English. Other than that I imagine many things!
