About Me

Current mission:
Forever learning to self-improve and to get comfortable while being uncomfortable.

About me:
Honesty and kindness above all. I am sometimes a bit awkward and direct (common in Norway, I guess). Quite quiet, but terribly talkative if you get me going. Helpful. Prone to over-thinking. And I am a tiny giant, or so I am told.

I'm a Student Counselor. Most of my work days are spent helping business students getting their degrees or fixing stuff in our databases. I have a master's degree in humanities, more specifically film and media studies. Despite my geekiness I love the outdoors, working out and making (mostly healthy and preferably Italian) food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know new people while traveling and hear their perspective on the world and life in general, and, if possible, see some of their favourite places

Music, Movies, and Books

I am passionatly interested in media culture. I find most movies/books, even bad ones, interesting to talk about. I used to be a relatively avid reader, but it kinda faded when I started working.

Some movies: Hero, V for Vendetta, Into the Wild, anything Marvel, Fight Club, Seven Psychopaths, Snatch.
Some series: Westworld, Taboo, Buffy/Angel, Game of Thrones, New Girl, Friends, Twin Peaks, Sherlock.
Books: Mostly sci-fi and fantasy. Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke. Neil Gaiman rules.
Music: Any genre. I can't even.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Full recovery from depression
