Overview
About Me
I'm a woodturner from the end of the world (Ushuaia, Argentina) on my way to Hawaii to work with one of the world's most renowned woodturners.
I grew up in a sheep farm, so love nature and animals. I also worked as an engineer on board Duch tallship Bark Europa, sailing around the world and visiting remote places like Antarctica.
Love sharing stories and culture with people from all around the world.
This year I'm attending the woodturning symposium in Raleigh and need to find a place to spend three nights before the event. Would love to stay with you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think sharing experiences like this is so much more valuable for everyone involved, rather than staying alone at a hotel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Crossed the Atlantic Ocean volunteering as an engineer on a Dutch tallship called Bark Europa. Later got hired as part of the permanent crew and sailed 4 times to Antarctica.
Teach, Learn, Share
How to prepare and drink mate (traditional argentine drink).
All about woodturning (if you're into it).
Spanish.
Good laughs!
What I Can Share with Hosts
First time doing this, so not sure how it goes, but can share amazing stories, experiences while sharing a delicious mate (traditional argentine drink) in a mug I turned myself, and teaching a bit of spanish. If you're into woodturning, I'm an instructor, so hopefully I can help you refine your techniques.
