CURRENT MISSION

To explore more things that I have never experienced before and try to have more understanding on other peoples's culture, and of course, at the same time, to find out which aspect that I can contribute after my retirement.

ABOUT ME

I am a man at the age of 57, single, and worked as a general clerk in a printing industry. I got my early retirement some years ago and would like to travel around to meet people of other countries in the rest of my time. I am quite shy and introverted at initial stage, but could be quite easy-going and talkative once we get to know each other well. Though I love to travel, I seldom go out abroad before my retirement as I am busy with my job, but now, I can liberate myself and try to travel around to explore more adventures in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Mutual respect and understanding is one of my mottoes and I believe there is no golden rule as everything is two sides of a coin. One has to be open-minded and accept other people's limitation. One has to get away all those anthropocentric ideas and be humble and treat every in an equal position including all sort of life forms.

I like travelling and meeting different people so as to get more understanding of their culture and also experience another kinds of life in other areas. Normally, I like helping with all sort of things as long as that can make people and life feel easier.

For the moment, I am still waiting for something that's great which I have never come across before.

As approaching to an old age like me, I cannot say I can have something to teach, but rather, I am in a stage of life-long learning. I've just found everything around me is full of knowledge which I have to acquire, no matter they are people or things of non-human. But one thing I would be most eager to learn is cultures from different people of the world. Sharpening my English may be one of the tools to achieve my goal in the short run.

For the time being, I am still learning a lot of things in my life and try to find out what the purpose of life is. Of course, I am willing to share what I have got as far as possible with my friends, especially my culture and languages. And I hope by such exchange, we can have certain kind of personal growth as time goes by.
