I grew up on one of the Finger Lakes in New York. I’m a student of International Politics & Economics at Tallinn University in Estonia. This year however, I’m on my Erasmus in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Traveling is my passion, getting to know different cultures and learn more about people. I love history; especially when you get to walk alongside it rather than simply flipping through a book. When I was 16 I lived in Thailand for a year through Rotary International’s study abroad program and I took a gap year doing workaway/traveling after high school in Europe and Morocco.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing to meet people. People are the best part about traveling, creating memories that will last a lifetime. I also hope that it will allow me to get a deeper understanding of various cultures which will be important for my future career in some area of international cooperation. The key to world peace is understanding.
