Hi, I am Thomas from Germany. I lived in Berlin for the last 10 years and now I am traveling solo around the world (starting in Asia). I am a web programmer and I love music, nature, hikes, hanging out with friends, surfing, playing pool and good food, good conversation and laughs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love the concept of meeting new people in different places and I feel couchsurfers are very open minded. Way better than the average hotel stay. Also there is no better way to explore a new place than to get in touch with locals.

I like all kinds of music. I enjoy HipHop, 70s, 80s, Electronic Music, Indie, Jazz as well.

So many good books, especially when travelling alone they are great companions.
Hesse, Bukowski, Miller, Hemingway, Murakami... I also love some good Sci-Fi such as Asimov.

My favorite movie has to be The big Lebowski... the dude is just too cool!
