One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Kenya, as I returned from a visit in the middle of the night, our minibus crosses a car with the wheels half-in-the-air, the other half in the ravine along the road. A woman was driving the car, unable to do anything. We all went out and started to lift the car. At that moment, other people joined us and started helping us and singing to encourage us. We finally succeeded and the lady was able to go home. We had each proven our values and created deep bonds with my Kenyan and worldwide volunteer friends.
