About Me
Hello!
My name is Thomas, and I am a recent Engineering graduate. I will start graduate school at UC Davis Fall 2016, and I live life to the fullest.
Not a rocket scientist yet, but I'm diligently exploring the frontiers:)
I was born and raised in Hannover (Germany) and live in California since 2008. I also speak some Bulgarian!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everyone should explore our planet. Nobody should ever be homeless. Couchsurfing combines these two! If you ever need a place to stay in for a day or two, I am here!
As a traveler, CS is an amazing opportunity to get to know exciting people and learn the local culture! I absolutely love it!
My philosophy in life is "life is too short to eat mediocre food, but it is too long to eat the same dish over and over."
Interests
Biking! May it be to school, or to get groceries, or to just do a 50 mile trip - as long as I am on two wheels, I am happy. Anything in the outdoors: Hiking, camping, backpacking. Don't forget the soylent! And then of course baking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Metal! But I am open to other things, too.
Movies: I love a huge variety of movies. It's probably easier to find the movies I don't like
Books: One flew over the cuckoos nest, The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, life of pi, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went skydiving once. It was awesome! But it's not for everyone, especially if you don't like heights! :/
Teach, Learn, Share
I collect baking recipes, and I'm willing to share!
I can also teach you some English, etwas Deutsch, and anything science related!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I talk a lot, but I know how to keep it quiet. I don't smoke, don't travel with pets and am rather convenient to live with. If there is anything else just ask :)
