CURRENT MISSION

I am exploring Japan for 5 or 6 weeks to watch the rugby world cup and do some hiking. Then I will go scuba diving in the Philippines! Should be a great time, maybe see you along the way :)

ABOUT ME

I like to think I am a pretty typical New Zealander - relaxed, friendly and open-minded. I get along really well with most people and enjoy meeting new people, especially those with backgrounds different from my own. I am enthusiastic and full of energy and some people say I have a cheeky grin. I like enjoying the little things in life, am never in a hurry and like a good laugh. I love exploring the outdoors especially beaches/mountains and basically any sport.

PHILOSOPHY

Only boring people get bored. Life is good, make the most of it and smile!
I'm not too worried about the future, I would rather live for the moment and enjoy everything while I can because you never know what is around the corner.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A little bit of everything! I love going to meet ups in cities I'm traveling to, surfing and hosting when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couch surfing quite a lot while exploring America and Canada for a year. Surfed a bit, went to meet ups, found traveling companions and even hosted a few people in our van along the way!
In New Zealand I have hosted when possible and found it just as enjoyable.

兴趣

Everything! Especially outdoorsy stuff, kayaking, diving, mountainbiking hiking etc. I love nature and animals, conservation, photography, travelling. I love making new friends and visiting old friends - which is part of the reason I travel so much.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Lived in a van for 7 months while traveling through Canada and America.
A two week hiking trip in Nepal.
Volunteering at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand and a turtle hatchery in Guatemala would have to be right up there!
