Overview
About Me
I'm outgoing and adventurous. I've just finished university and want to discover the world. I love sports and the outdoors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to make new friends and I know I can have a much better feel of a place if I stay with and talk to the people who come from wherever I'm visiting rather than staying in an unsociable hotel room which is much too expensive for what it is.
Interests
I love animals, and wildlife, I've had a dream since I was small to hike across Canada and explore it's wilderness. I just can't get enough of being outdoors. I enjoy many sports (mainly watersports) including, rowing, kayaking, windsurfing, swimming, cycling and running.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a hopeless romantic so any romcom/chick flick will do me I'm ashamed to say. 'A lot like love' is one of my favourites at the moment.
Otherwise I love Irish folk music and am partial to a bit of classical music now and again, but all music suits me and I tend to go for things that are pleasing to listen to, so apart from maybe R&B and certain types of rap I listen to pretty much everything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 I travelled to Zimbabwe and stayed with friends. It wasn't so much what I did out there but rather the experience which was unforgettable. If I could suggest any country to someone in the world (baring in mind I've not seen everything of course) it would be Zimbabwe, but its harsh lifestyle means you nearly have to know someone there in order to go.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge and experience of the world (though meagre) through my travels, the hard places I've been to and the absolutely amazing ones too. I am a passionate historian and I love to discuss history with those as equally interested as I. Having studied the History of Art at University I have a wide breadth of knowledge of the Renaissance and the art of the 18/19th century including the artist William Turner and Revolutionary paintings and caricatures during the French Revolution.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Laos, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam, Zimbabwe
Countries I’ve Lived In
