I am Thomas Sandler, or simply Sandler as most people call me (like the actor Adam Sandler - though I make better films). I am studying to be a filmmaker/photographer.

A film is a perspective on a topic and well... the most interesting perspectives come from those who have "lived" so that is why I am travelling.

I love meeting new people to share experiences with. As a storyteller, I would love to hear your story and experience your 9 to 5. Equally, I can share many of my stories and films for you to enjoy. Other than that, I am always seeking out new adventures that hopefully take me off the much feared well-trodden tourist path!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been recommended by many friends that couch surfing is one of the best ways to get in touch with locals from whichever place. Locals know their area best so they are the most likely to give unique experiences and share genuine culture so they are certainly worth knowing!

I can teach cinematography, directing, editing, and most anything film related. I am learning Spanish and so need to practise speaking it. At the end of my stay I will always leave a small memorabilia to share with my hosts.

What I Can Share with Hosts
