About Me
My life was completely torn apart in 2020 from one day to another on my birthday. Pushed through immense pain I felt the need to change my personality and became a different human being. The pandemic made it even harder to get through it being roughly restricted in socialicing but luckily i made it thanks to good friends, therapy, yoga, meditation and a lot of mental work.
After visiting Sri Lanka (first time Asia) 2022 I decided to quit my job and apartment one year later and start solo travelling to get out of my comfort zone and get to know the world, its societies and its people. Since August 2023 I consider the world as my home:)
I am into photography, orienteering, running, hiking, yoga, skiing, ball games, magic the gathering, streetart, movies, series, festivals, raves and I really enjoy deep conversations in a wide variety of topics.
I don´t need much comfort, like sleeping in tents.
Worked 7 Years as an IT-Administrator and consultant in a small startup.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I have always roadtripped on vacations I didn't get much in contact with local people or other travellers. Anxiety for rejection or any other negative reaction when trying to connect to people was also very influencing. After my life broke down 2020 I was eager to change all the habits I didn't like about me, so this is one of it and couchsurfing is supposed to be a perfect method to get in touch with people that have something in common and share a certain mindset.
