ABOUT ME

I'm a traveler and never home too long, but if I am; I'd love to host you!

I make very spontaneous decisions while out traveling. This has led me to things like making my way from Vietnam back to Amsterdam by just busses and trains, the most random road-trips, but also to living in Sweden for half a year and in Czech Republic for nearly 2 years.

I work as a freelancer. My priority lies in taking the time to really see what's out there and my work is a great way to facilitate that. What I love about travel is the inconveniences you will undoubtedly run into, but which will ultimately lead to the best stories and memories. I usually travel on a budget, stay mostly in cheap hostels, which (besides Couchsurfing) I think is the nicest place to meet people from all over the globe. I care about the environment and sustainability and try to avoid having to fly to keep my carbon footprint a little bit smaller.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
To be honest I don't listen that often to music. Although, people tell me I always sing and whistle out loud a lot. I guess I'm just happy a lot and then that happens unconsciously. When I do listen to music I just start a Spotify radio and besides that I think Red hot chili peppers are great and Kaleo is pretty cool. Eddie Vedder is great too.

MOVIES
My favorite movies include 127 hours and Into the wild. But I'm also a fan of the Marvel Universe and love the TV show Dexter.

BOOKS
I think George Orwell's Animal Farm and 1984 are both very interesting. Currently into Mitch Albom.
