Hi! My name's Thomas but please, call me Tom.

I'm 27 years old, currently living in Glasgow, Scotland. I am originally from Zimbabwe but moved to the UK in 2008.

At the moment I am attending the university of Glasgow, completing one more year of study and will be graduating with a General Humanities Degree in 2018.
During my time in Scotland I qualified as a Nursery Practitioner (working with children between the ages of 3 months and 11 years)
I also have worked in various roles across multiple industries such as Hospitality and Retail.

I'm a very easy going guy with a positive out look on life. I enjoy swimming, reading, crocheting (this is a very recent hobby but I love it!), watching films, practicing yoga, cooking and baking, cycling, walking and writing.
I'm a very caring and trustworthy person who has developed firm friendships with different people across the globe.

I'm respectful of people's space and I appreciate it takes a lot of trust to let someone into your home but I'd like to reassure you that I'm very tidy and would be eager to assist in any household tasks.
I adore animals so if you have pets then thats absolutely wonderful. Oh I'm also Vegetarian.

I'm on Couchsurfing because there is so much of the world that I would love to see and I know that this site could provide an opportunity to travel the world much more cheaply but also enable me to meet like minded, free spirited people who are happy to be part of a global community.

I believe that learning and living with other cultures is a wonderful life experience which can truly add value to ones life.

I'd like to hope that through this site I might also meet some amazing new friends to add into my life.

Hmmm... my taste in music is quite broad so I do enjoy a lot of different Artists and Groups but to name a few:
Animal Collective, First Aid Kit, Vampire Weekend, Coldplay, Adele, Sia, Of Monsters and Men.

I enjoy a wide range of films as well from Documentary style to Thriller/Horror and everything in-between, big fan of Disney and other animated films.

Books I enjoy range from the spiritual sort, thought provoking to non-fiction novels.
