About Me

I am an ex student while still being a student to be. I live in England right now, where I am a language assistant in French, as part of the training I decided to get to become an English teacher in France.

I want to keep learning new languages and am quite interested in both their structure and background.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was advised to join Couchsurfing in order to start moving a bit and I must say I am quite interested in the concept.

Sadly, as I'm housesharing right now, I cannot host people. But once I get back to France, I will start doing so. I look forward to hearing directly from natives a whole lot of different languages !

Interests

As far as hobby goes, I like to read. A lot. I'm quite fond of videogames and quite interested in medias overall.
I have been practicing karate for 4 years, and also play the piano a bit.

To get back on languages, I'm learning Kanjis in order to be able to read, and then later speak, Japanese and Chinese.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music would be a bit hard to mention so I will simply say that my favorite band since my teenages is still Rammstein. I don't really have a music genre that I dislike, I probably in fact have a group I do like in pretty much every genre.

My favorite movie is "La cité des enfants perdus", a very eerie movie that I probably watch once every year.

My favorite book is undoubtedly Dune, from Frank Herbert. I am in general quite fond of science fiction and Fantasy, with such writers as David Eddings, Peter V. Brett, David Gemmell, and plenty others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I have to mention something, I'd say it's the time I have spent roaming France with no security net, no plan for the nights nor the food. Even though it only lasted for one week, it was quite the experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Passion and hobbies, I guess.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sadly I cannot share yet, in the end 2016 and forward, I will be able to host. I am quite fond of cooking, and I actually do cook for my housemates in England, so meals would be part of the accommodation. I'd also be glad to share my passions and discover the interests of visitors.

In other words, to be continued very soon !
