Overview
About Me
Hi, My name is Thomas Wattinne, I’m 22 and I’m currently studying general engineering.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Four years ago, I spent nearly two months in a Hong Kong family, it was an awesome experience to learn about their culture, to share time with them and to enjoy home-made local cuisine. I really loved this two months, so, I decided to do the same. By hosting people, you learn about new cultures and I think it’s helpful and very interesting for everyone.
For me, Couchsurfing helps travelers to get in touch and to seek this hidden details that you can’t see if you are in a basic hotel.
Interests
I like hiking, running, riding, sailing and all kinds of sports, particularly Football and Squash.
I also love spend good time with my friends, drinking beers, laughing and talking about our experience abroad.

- Kung-fu experience in a Shaolin temple in China.
- Volunteer for an NGO in the Philippines called «Gawad Kalinga».
It was such an unbelievable experience shared with all these fantastic locals and freaky travellers.
