We are a rather international family with roots in Germany, North and South America and Ireland. During the day I work for the Ministry of Education of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and in my spare time ;-) I am the elected Mayor of the city of Annweiler, a small town (7.000 inhabitants) in southwestern Germany. My wife is a Work Safety Inspector, also working for the State. We have two almost grown-up daughters and we all love to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My family greatly enjoys meeting new people from all over the world, with their unique experiences, backgrounds, talents and ideas. We would enjoy this while travelling, but also by offering our home to other like-minded people.
