About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life!

ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as a very open minded individual who is always happy to lend a hand or help out. My friends say I can have a sarcastic sense of humour, but having lived independently & worked full time for several years now; I very much have my feet planted in the real world. I am always up for learning news things & enjoy sharing intriguing & interesting conversations about anything & everything. As long as you have something to say, I will listen!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem or sieze the day. I hate nothing more than the idea of wasting time just for the sake of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not too long ago I got back from a 3.5 month trip around China. During the trip I used couchsurfing to find places to stay whilst travelling. Now I am back from China I am hoping to return the favour by hosting people in Norwich. I also hope to get involved in the CS community in Norwich.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed a few times & travelled with a few people, but never hosted.

Interests

I am into my music & go to lots of gigs as well as the odd festival. Every now & then I don't mind going along to see well known bands at big venues, but generally I prefer seeing smaller local bands at smaller venues. My tastes vary widely, but the main genres I listen to are rock, ska, jazz, reggae & acoustic. Anything that will get me on my feet dancing will do though!

Another big interest of mine is food. I love to cook & bake and am very fortunate to have lived with people that share my passion. I do have quite a strong viewpoint on food waste & used to volunteer at a kitchen where lots of food that would have been thrown out by the shops was made into a meal for the homeless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My 3.5 month trip around China is hands down the most interesting & enjoyable thing I have done in my life thus far. In the future I hope to do some travelling around SE Asia, but at this moment in time it's very difficult to imagine any trip topping my last!
