ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going Physics student from the UK currently on a many month tour of the USA with only my backpack, tent and friend, looking to have a good time and meet lots of interesting like minded people! I enjoy live music, outdoorsy stuff, loads of different activities/sports, and just generally going places and doing things I've never done before.

PHILOSOPHY

There is so much on this world to see and learn and I'm trying to cram it all in to my short insignificant life and overwhelmed brain.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only really became aware of this fantastic community since I came to Canada but I hope to make the most of it this summer and intend to do my bit when I get back home!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a good few couches in North America. All of whom have been great people.

So much music. Love going to music festivals. SOME examples; Wilco, Apparat, Beach House, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, Four Tet, The Smiths, Jurassic 5, Tribe Called Quest, I could go on indefinitely.
Movies; Into the Wild, American Beauty, A Beautiful Mind, Brick, Anchorman, Firefly, again I could go on for ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a ride on in a lynx helicopter in Ireland and the pilot thought it would be hilarious to reverse the angle of the rotor blades, resulting in us plummeting to the ground and everything hovering for a good few seconds. I'd like to believe I experienced zero G....

Teach, Learn, Share

As far as esoteric goes I have a knowledge of physics that just about scrapes graduate level and I love talking about it at any level. Also love swapping music recommendations with people and always on the search for new music. I'm a fluent french speaker so if anyone wants a practice, I'll speak french with you all day everyday.
