CURRENT MISSION

To fix up my boat over summer with the intention of sailing her up to Auckland mid Feb! All the while enjoying the beauty of Golden Bay, surfing, fishing, my van, tramping and general good times all around. A fully acheivable mission

ABOUT ME

Im a wonderer, cant sit still for too long as i know how much is out there to see. Im a sucker for experiences and change. I dont subscribe to many conventions, i aim to have my mind as open as possible, and to keep widening my horizons! Hopefully for the rest of my life. I love music, i love classic literature, im currently sailing around the world on my own yacht with an international crew of 5! We started in New Zealand in 2015 and are now in South Korea

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a bed or two on the boat that i can offer, if anyone wants to help with a bit of boat work then thats super, otherwise zero participation in anything resembling work is cool with me! Well, i aint cookin' all yer food, but you knows what i mean

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None! I have met couch surfers, some are my friends, some i have helped hitch around NZ in my van, it all sounds pretty good to me

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing trip, kind of changed my course in life was sailing from Halifax Nova Scotia, to Oslo, by way of Newfoundland, Labrador, Greenland, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Shetland Islands and some other spots in Norway on the way round to Oslo. All in a 32ft fiberglass sloop! With a bunch of Norwegians, brilliant to a man (and one woman!) Now im sailing my own boat around the world, from New Zealand we have sailed as far as South Korea by now!!

I can teach some sailing knowledge, im a beginner surfer and guitarist, but i find teaching is a great way to learn, so im keen to impart what i have! Im also pretty practical, i will be learning how to re-fit my yacht over summer, so keen to meet some handy people to learn from!
