I am rather reserved at first, but after a few beers and a couple of laughs all that goes away. I enjoy learning about local history and culture, wherever I am in the world. Mostly, I just like to wander the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I initially started this profile as an avenue for a photographic project, although, it never gained any traction. Therefore, I am unexperienced in the ways of couch surfing, but still willing.

Interests

I studied photography in college, and now I am teaching English to children here in Jilin, with that being said I am interested in visual and written communication; books and photography. I do enjoy hiking, and canoeing, and have an extensive music collection.

Also, since I am being in China, I have been trying to learn the language, but it has been a slow journey.
