Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One time in Switzerland, being tired and far removed from anything even resembling a trail, a friendly Swiss couple took my friend and I in. Originally to "get out of the rain". Then for "tea and cookies". By the end of the evening we were joking around in French and playing games with the extended family.

A pod of orcas came out to play below and around our small boat, somewhere off the shore of Vancouver Island. Or deer running through the corn fields at 5AM on a bike ride.
