About Me

ABOUT ME.

My parents live in Paris' suburb. I have one brother (Adrien) and one sister (Marina).

I am civil engineer working on town planning such as tramways, tube stations, trains, etc. During my sturdies I had the chance to take a year off in California to play Volleyball in a university, followed by an exchange year in Valencia, Spain. I am a very adventurous guy and these experiences enable me to improve my languages, discover new cultures and gave me an extreme wanderlust.

Since I came back from this trip in August 2013, I have been working in Paris and left in 2016 to live in Malaysia

PHILOSOPHY

“This is your life. Do what you love, and do it often. If you don’t like something, change it. If you don’t like your job, quit. If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over analyzing, life is simple. All emotions are beautiful. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things and people, we are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them. Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once; seize them. Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating. Live your dream, and wear your passion. Life is short.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered CS in 2012 when I was in the US, I tried to host as much as I could the year after in Spain and later on in Paris or Kuala Lumpur

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has always been a pleasure to host or couchsurf. I believe CS is the best way to balance between tourism and meeting with locals.
Ever since I started CS, I can't imagine my vacation without trying to meet couchsurfers in the qreq where I am going.

Interests

As I said I like practicing physical activities: running, rock climbing, ping pong, swimming and obviously Volleyball.

Spending time with my friends is definitely the best. It can be in a park, at home, at the movie... Depends sometimes we are motivated and do stuff or sometimes we just like to sit and relax.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like complicated and farfetched movies such as The Usual Suspect, Memento or The Butterfly Effect... If you never watched these movies you can go ahead you will not be dissapointed.
Rock, Electro, Rap, House, Reggae... I really listen a bit of everything: International bands that I like are Queen, SOJA, Rebelution, IAM (french), The Beatles

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Morocco for 5 years from 1991 to 1996, from 2 to 7 years old
I decided to go to California for one year when I knew nothing about it, but I thought it was a great challenge.
I have seen the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, the Eiffel Tower (so many times) and some other cool places!
I hold a 7ft croco while visiting Brunei
