My current mission
Is to find people with interest in videography, writing, cameras, wild vegetables, food from nature, edible plant walks, medicinal plants and medicinal food. When you like to make a plant walk in or around Amsterdam, contact me.

I am vegetarian and I love it. I like to prepare nice meals. Sometimes I make a vegan meal by accident. As a vegetarian you have to become more creative in preparing food, si I use many different spices, herbs, wild foods, vegetables, nuts, seeds and fruits to create the perfect taste experience.

PHILOSOPHY

I live because I want to learn. I learn about myself, the world and mankind. Knowledge is the reason to live.

I started to write in English because all my English speaking friends asked for this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Actually, I hosted a lot more than go couchsurfing myself. But everytime I surfed somebody elses couch it was a great experience. In some cases i went to a new city in the world, just because I met a new friend that stayed in my house in Asterdam.
I have travelled to st Petersburg and meet people over there in a weekly meeting which was very enjoyable.
Also I went to Denmark for a week while couchsurfing only. It was great to have all this good information from Danish friends.
One night I stayed in the Netherlands by couchsurfing. I had to go to the other side of my country for a job. Also this was an enjoyable experience.
Furthermore I visited over 3 weeks in Mexico with a couchsurfing friend I met in Amsterdam. That was really great.

I listened to l.p.´s. I still have 600 vinyl records. You can choose a record to play. I have music from the sixties and seventies. Rolling Stones, Miles Davis, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull, Herbie Hancock to name a few famous ones.

I read informative books only, about anything but mainly about medicinal food. I don´t like novels anymore. Novels are useless entertainment just like television. It is boring lol. But I do go to the cinema sometimes.

I like films without violence and with a story.

I snorkeled around the Cook Islands.
I swam in underground caves in Yucatan Mexico and in Atiu, Cook Island, both in 2015.
I sing a Sinterklaas song in Dutch with a Papuan teacher.
Had an elephant waking me up in Botswana
