Overview
About Me
I am from Cologne in Germany but spent most of my time during the last years in Latin America. :-) It was during a year that I spent studying at university in Guadalajara (Mexico) that I became extremely fascinated of Latin American culture, landscapes and - above all - people. I then started working with coffee which has given me the opportunity to combine my different interestest and do what I love to do. Over the last 2 years I worked as a cupper (taster) and green coffee buyer in Mexico, Colombia and Peru. I now started with an own project as a coffee consultatn, principally with the aim of creating relationships between farmers and roasters.
Apart from my passion for coffee I love travelling through Mexico in my old beetle, hike mountains, spend time at the coast or just hang out with friends or be with my family. Music and brewing beer would be just two out of many further things that I love to do!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I absolutely enjoy Couchsurfing as it has given me opportunities to meet cool people from different parts of the world and it has especially made it possible for me to get to know places authentically rather than just the tourist spots. Creating friendships across the world is something I consider incredibly valuable. Getting to know people from different backgrounds and with different perspectives is one of the most enriching things I can imagine.
