About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try and get as much out of my one life as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently studying to become a movie director. Cinema is the language of dreams if done in a certain way, this way the audience can process their life while watching. I hope my movies can achieve something similar in the future.
My favorite movie of all time is the Tree of life.

Meditation and expanding my (self) consciousness is a big part of my life. I learned a lot about my thoughts and feelings, strengths and weaknesses and where they come from. I believe people are capable of way more than we think and consciousness is the first step.

Other passions of mine are music, martial arts and nature.

Traveling is a big part of my life as well. I went to South America for a year and a half, all the way from the most Southern point, Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, to the Caribbean cost in Colombia. I met so many amazing people and had so many unforgettable experiences; the trip really changed me as a person. I learned that I could get happiness from such a different way of life than that I was used to in Amsterdam. This other more direct way of life was also what attracted me in the first place to leave. I wanted to experience nature and only worry about food and shelter instead of what society expected of me. I slept in a tent most of the time and traveled a lot by bike. In the end I found my second home in Palomino, a little village on the Caribbean cost of Colombia, where I spent time living with the Arhuacos, indigenous people from the region. From them I learned what it truly meant to live in harmony with nature and your environment. It came close to making there my permanent home, but I felt like I had unfinished things back in Amsterdam. My passion for Cinema and my dream of becoming a movie director is what finally made me return. I'm currently on a journey to realizing that dream, but my travels are far from over.
