ABOUT ME

I hate filling these things out but i suppose that i am a friendly, outgoing guy. I enjoy a few beers with friends and heading a bit off the beaten track. I have caught the travel bug and am currently finding the balance between time money and my plans to see the world.

Take one day at a time, don't think to long about tommorrow, and remember yesterday for the good times that it was.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had students abd travlers stay with me in Australia for the past couple of years, and since i came to Europe i found out about couch surfing and it sounds like a great program, and a great way to make some new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a German guy in Freiburg, i found out about his plans to come to Australia. We got along really well, and had a greeat time during christmas and new years. So when I invited him to come stay with me he changed his flight plans so that his first stop was Melbourne. Since then i have gone and visited his family again. I feel like i have made a great friend, i just wished that germany and Australia we're a little bit closer.

Interests

I am a saxophone player so i am very keen on music. I am also into outdoor activities like hiking swimming all the good things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love adventure and crime books, like Tom clanky, John Grisham and Wilbur smith.

I like any type of movies, but would probably say that i lean towards the black comedies that come out of Europe. Just watched in Bruges when i was in Bruges and now have a new favorite film.

Music, i like the classic rock Acdc and the rolling stones. I also like some blues and jazz and funk. I love harry connick jr and Marcus miller is a hero. John butler trio are amazing as well. I am pretty open to to any new music, as long as the mood is right to listen ti it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Smile. Smile at everyone, even if you get strange looks for it. It is the best way to get out of a bad mood, and i find i meet more people if i am smiling and happy.
