Hello there!

My name is Thomas van der Molen. I'm an anthropologist from The Netherlands. Much of my research has been with Tibetans and I did part of my doctoral fieldwork in Nepal. I taught college students in Bhutan and did research with Dutch high-school students this year. Now I'm a researcher working from the University of Amsterdam. Our research focuses on helping people dealing with homelessness to find ways of recovering and rehabilitating themselves.

I love Mother Earth and all the beings within her precious domain. Hiking is a way for me to explore the beauty of nature. I also like visiting museums about culture and history. Handpan music is among my favourites.
