I teach math in Greensboro, NC. I am working on a math curriculum. Numbers are organized vision, much like music is organized sound.

PHILOSOPHY

I can be pretty pessimistic about American culture at times, but groups like Food Not Bombs, Wikipedia, and Couchsurfing give me hope :)

The house I rent from hosted George Throop, who just recently finished his walk across America! (see http://enjoythewalk.com)

I also stayed on two couches on my trip to Taos, NM in August of 2013, both of which were very hospitable, and Baltimore, MD in 2014 when I was attending a dissident science conference.

Interests

Right now, mainly math, science, and technology. I think there is a need for scientists to learn to think more like artists, because our society sorely needs both perspectives working together... I like to stay at the cutting-edge of ideas.
