About Me

I'm a 23 year old German student, who fell in love with traveling in 2014, when I backpacked through Oceania and South-East-Asia per car/hitchhike/bus and motor bike for one year.

For me really important is that I want to get out of my comfort zone. Not just see the country but live it. Have some random exploration every day and not just follow a prewalked path. Be spontaneous. Say yes instead of no. Also I don't need to see every top attraction there is - for me traveling is mostly about socializing: to meet new people, explore new cultures and just enjoy life as beautiful as it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people!

Interests

First of all, I really love music.

I love listening to music, all different kind of genres. My heart will forever stay with indie rock, but right now I mainly listen to stuff like trip-hop, post-dubstep, songwriter, grunge, etc. (this is in no way complete as I'm incredibly bad with naming genres)
+ when raving I really like some proper techno (and although my genre naming is even worse here) such as underground techno - minimal - house tech stuff? (Forgive me lord for I have no idea what I'm talking about here)

Secondly, I really enjoy music a lot!

But I do also like to do music myself, I absolutely love to play piano, I've been playing classical piano for basically since I knew how to read, so if you have a piano, I'd love to try that out. I also like singing a lot, I'm always in for a bonfire session, and can assist with some scratchy guitar strumming (Sometimes even on my beloved Ibanez travel guitar).

And thirdly, I love mu ... Wait! I actually do have other interests as well :D

For Sports, I'm quite a passionate footballer (but also play all the other team games that are around there).

And as far as solo sports are concerned: I love snowboarding, and most of all I love hiking (dunno If that's a true sport, but i love it anyway) Especially Multi-day hikes far away from everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some random guy bringing a piano to the festival ground of Kiwiburn (NZ) resulting in suddenly everybody packing out their instruments and having the greatest jam I've ever been part of.

Climbing up destiny mountain and after reaching the top having suddenly fog rise all around me, making me randomly slide down (the wrong side), so that I had to traverse to the right pass (which took forever). After endless hours and almost sunset I arrived at the bottom just setting my tent like a true hobbit right in front of the mountain.

Driving around muddy Himalayan streets in northern India on a 200 kg heavy Royal Enfield motorbike without having driven in 4 years or having a license.

Running up Stok Kangri in Ladakh, India at 6200m height in only 18h.
