CURRENT MISSION

Because I am going to switch jobs I am taking a short motortrip from The Netherlands to Slovenia and Croatia where I am planning to do some backcountry riding!

ABOUT ME

I'm Thomas, 27 years old. After getting my medical degree I started my PhD in Neurosurgery. Currently, I am living in Utrecht (recently moved) and I will start a new job as a resident not in training at the neurosurgery department this August in Utrecht. I have been using Couchsurfing for over 7 years now and I have always had excellent experiences meeting new people at interesting places. In the past, I have used Couchsurfing for a motortrip from The Netherlands to Senegal and for another motortrip from Chile to Colombia. It's great to see that so many people offer to host, guide you to cities and show great places.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've had my own store, an art galery. I was in Paris, where i saw a little galery that sold work of starting artists. Back in the Netherlands I wondered why this wasn't in Groningen. It took a lot of effort but finaly it was there! I won a price of the University of Groningen with this idea, so that made things a little easier. The shop is closed now, becuase there wasn't any money left..
