ABOUT ME
I am the person that waits for you when everybody decided to move on. The person that bridges the gap between people. The person that forgets what he is doing, because he already found ten new things to do when he started the first action.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: No country for old men, Matrix, Casablanca, The Wave, A Clockwork Orange, Batman: The Dark Knight, Paprika, Inception, Body in a shell, Sin City
Music: Greatly varies depending on my mood. At the moment I listen to a lot of oldies, like Paul Simon, Ben E. King, Marvin Gaye, Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen, The Meters. More contemporary consists of the Black Keys, Aphex Twin, Chase & Status, M83, Vitalic, Magnetic Man.
Books: Just finished The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, which was a really good read. At the moment I am reading The What is the What by Dave Eggers and Der Prozess by Kafka.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During the holidays we, two of my best friends and me, used to travel in an old Volkswagen van through France, Switzerland and Germany. Just camping out, and having a beer with different people.
When we had seen enough of Europe, one night we decided to broaden our scope and take half a year off to see the States. We booked a ticket to Houston and by chance met this amazing, friendly lady who gave us her car, an old Toyota 4runner jeep. With that car, which we baptized with the good old American name Jack (the Third), we made our way through the States and Canada. Being a little skeptical at first about couchsurfing, we soon found out that is an amazing way to get to know a country and new people. I think we couchsurfed at about 30 people (not all on my profile, partially on my friends profile) and we had the most amazing experiences; shooting shotguns in Alabama, climbing snowy mountain peaks in New Hampshire, going to slowdance parties in Montreal, raving with techno goths in Detroit, dining in a Michelin star restaurant in New York City because one of our hosts roommates worked there, and a lot more crazy/funny/scary things.
