ABOUT ME

If my best friends were to describe me, they would probably say that I'm both a lot like an old man and a young kid. I'm warm hearted, calm, friendly and always ready with some delicious treat from the kitchen but at the same time I'm very goofy, silly, weird and playful.

I'm the kind of friend you can always talk to about personal problems or whatever's on your mind. I listen and I don't judge. I value true friendship a lot and could never let down a good friend. My friends are my family and if they need me to help them out, I'm there for them.

I love to party, dance and sing, but I don't spend all my weekends getting drunk or even just hanging out with friends. I appreciate my time alone as well and I need silence in my life to counterpart the loudness.

PHILOSOPHY

Non-religious, I think fighting for a better and more kind world is best achieved by living kind and compassionately.

I have been hosted once and I would like to host travelers. If you are in need of a place in Aarhus just message me and my couch is probably yours. Sometimes I can't host because of work but otherwise I'll gladly host you.

Interests

My most dominant interests are film, food, music and language. I study English and Film/Media so naturally a lot of my time is spent writing, reading (even though I'm not a fan of reading in generel), watching films, analyzing and so on.

When I'm not occupied doing school related things I'm in the kitchen trying to be creative. I've always helped out in the kitchen at home. I like to turn up the music and spend the day cooking and dancing. In 2011 I decided to become a vegan, so there are no animal products in my house and I don't eat anything that comes from an animal.

I love film and I have studied it a bit. I like Miyazaki, Polanski, Pixar, Disney...
Requiem for a Dream, Toy Story 3, The Pianist, A Single Man, The Tree of Life, Pelle the Conqueror...

The music I listen to is mainly pop and R&B but I enjoy many kinds of music. I love to sing :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not really sure what to write here, but all the moments that come to mind where I've been awestruck somehow invlve the night, the sky and the stars. I'm continuosly amazed by those clear sky nights and the magic they posses. I remember waiking up in the middle of the night on a bus trip that went through the mountains of Belgium. I looked out the window into a clear, dark night and saw nothing but free fall hundreds of meters down just outside the bus. We were at the very edge of the mountain road. My stomach twisted with fear and excitement as I looked deeper into the night and found little lights from villages scattered throughout the valleys and peaks. The lights from the villages were reflected in the clear stars of the night sky. I closed my eyes and fell asleep again as if it was only part of my dream. Moments like that really stay with me.
