About Me

Hey!
I am currently a student in sociology at university and I really like it though I work as a cinematographer (sociology for me is a passion and an alternate way to keep learning and to have a great impact on what I create as an artist - I think it makes me more councious about art in society). I love movies. Really rarelly I will find a movie boring but I would not say that I know a lot about movies in general. I know a lot about the technical side behind it but I have not seen all of the classics. I definetly still have a big list of movies to watch. Because I want to become (in fact I'm on the way of becoming) a cinematographer, I think I developped a sensibility to some visual things and harmless moments that happen here and there. I see things in a curious esthetical approach and I love small moments that could seem timeless. When I don't work and when I don't study, I love spending my time between seeing friends, reading the news, reading books (I love to convince myself that I read books), travelling, enjoying the sun and my garden. My philosophy of life is everyday changing but I like to be able to enjoy small things. I love everything that brings me back to the present moment and I feel like travelling brings a lot of this in my life. I am a very calm person who may seem shy at first but I am not at all haha. I never get angry or shocked, in general I am really peacefull. I don't know yet exactly what I learn from travelling but it surely makes me a better person!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people! I usually rarely use couchsurfing as I am sort of shy to use people's place without having much to give back but I am always gratefull and really respectful towards people who do give me the chance to meet them :)
