Hmm.......it's difficult to describe oneself. Hopefully, you will find words like nice, kind, polite, tolerant, curious, outgoing, self-ironic and humorous apply to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To have a good time with other couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve couchsurfed in Canada, NYC, New England and Florida - having had only positive experiences.

I've also hosted cs’ers as you can see on my references.

Interests

Sports - tennis, volleyball, soccer and skiing (Denmark is not the country to live in, if you like to ski)

Reading newspapers and magazines, watching TV - I watch anything from entertainment shows to a serious documentary on Discovery Channel. I'm also interested in history - anything from World War II to the American Civil War.

Hanging out with friends - going to the movies, dining, drinking beers/cocktails.

I also love to travel meeting other people and cultures. I've been to many countries.

Music: Rock, Metal and Grunge

Movies..........hmm, I'll rather mention the directors I like: Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, Segio Leone, Sean Penn (go see “Into the wild”, if you haven’t seen it yet!), Steven Spielberg, Woody Allen, Ingmar Bergman, Stanley Kubrick, Oliver Stone, John Bormann, John Ford, Akira Kurosawa, Lasse Halström, Francis Ford Coppola, Spike Lee, Federico Fellini, Bernado Bertulicci, Brian de Palma, Quintin Tarantino, Michael Mann, Milos Forman, Krystof Kieslowski, Wim Wenders, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Bille August, Werner Herzog (go see “Grizzly Man” a must see movie!!) and David Lynch........I might have forgotten some, but I think I made my point - I love movies. My favorite movie is "Midnight Cowboy" by John Schlesinger with Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voigt.

Books.....hmm.......I read all day long at my work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one year in Greenland working as a prosecutor for the Greenlandic Police Force. I have seen things, I’ll never forget.
