2015: Taking care of our new daugther and our three-year-old son.

ABOUT ME

At first it was all about Thomas and his travels, ideas and thoughts. Now this profile is more of a family profile for all three of us: Camilla, Thomas and our son Otto.

Ever since he was born in September 2012 our life and couch surfing experiences have changed - for the better.

We live in Odense, Denmark's third largest city with around 193,000 inhabitants. It is the hometown of the infamous Danish writer H. C. Andersen.

Camilla is a medical student and Thomas works as the editor of the local news paper Vollsmose Avisen - in the suburb of Odense called Vollsmose.

We couch surfed during our trip with Otto along the Amercian west coast. A great experience.

We believe in taking part of our local community and respecting the global world. Thomas is a board member of our housing organisation and we buy veggies through a local organic voluteer organisation.

We both surf couches and host surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted people from Hospitality Club and Couch Surfing, and Thomas has surfed couches in Macedonia and Hungary so fare.

We've met great friends through CS - both in Denmark and Cambodia and we hosted good people from around the world.

We see people and not only places, because we use Couch Surfing.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music: Eels, The National, The Flaming Lips, Radiohead, Muse, Rufus Wainwright, The Streets, Kashmir, Dave Holland and actually all kinds of music.

Books: I read a lot, and my favourite book is East of Eden by John Steinbeck (by the way, watch the movie with James Dean!!!).

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Seeing my son for the first time, living in Cambodia and Macedonia. Tour in Poland, Slovenia and Italy with Aarhus Marimba Band. Interrailed The Balkans in the summer of 2006. I lived in Struga in Macedonia, lived on a 6,000-people-big island in Denmark- the Danish version of the Balkans. Lived in Phnom Penh and worked as a radio reporter at DR - the Danish National Broadcasting Cooperation.
