Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Always meeting new people, learn about them, exchange, have fun, impress...

ABOUT ME

Very open minded, generous, funny and humble ! XD

You should know me
(That's what my friends would say to you :p)

You can check me on facebook : http://www.facebook.com/ThomasJustine

From my childhood, I formed a lot of bands in wich I played the guitar and sang, wrote the music and lyrics, play in theatre as well.

In the same time, I studied scientific stuff.
So I'm an engineer since the beginning of November 2010.

But since I went to South Africa for 3 months to play the guitar all day and night long, and I decided to dedicate my life to art.

I had a tour between Johannesburg and Cape Town all December 2010 long with a house DJ and a singer (http://www.dmasloandchecherry.com), that motivated my choice.

Now I'm back in Paris.

In 2011, I founded a band with Peter Pulp, Gaspar Jose and Sven Clerx. The name is The Self-Destruct (http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Self-Destruct/218157724875795), creating from the chaos...

I also played the guitar in 2 other bands (La libération des Patates, and with Sven Cosnuau).

I organize exhibitions for amateur artists in bars, where I play some acoustic music with numerous different bands.
(Facebook group : http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=107840219245725&ref=ts)

I also play in a French musical that a friend of mine have written. It's about love and treason, around a concert that turns into a settling of scores.
(Here's the group page on facebook : http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=51576688921&ref=ts)

I'm also writing my own guitar partitions for a guitar trio soon, and a rock symphony Pink Floyd style...

In September 2011, I began taking private music theory lessons, and train everyday.

In September 2012 I had myself joined in a theatre conservatory to learn how to play and direct.

My aim is to create shows of which I want to write the story, the music, direct the music and the theatre, and imply other arts in them...

I barely sleep...
Don't have the time to :p

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can do everything for you (almost).
I make food, sing a song, play, and hope everything's all right.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2007 :

I slept in Guillaume Terrenoir's flat twice and it was amazing.

I participated in the host of Ben and Emma (USA), at Guillaume's, and it was very cool.

Summer 2008 :

I hosted Flamur, from Kosovo, for 2 days, and it was a very good experience.

I went to a CS meeting in August in Belfort and everyone was very cool!
I invited all of the participants in my flat and it was amazing.

I hosted Aniko and a friend of hers, from Hungary, and they were very nice and easy going. I cooked and made music for them (as usual), and I think they enjoyed their stay ;)

Summer 2009 :

I hosted 4 german people for 3 nights (Leonie, Raphael, Sebastien and Jonathan). Very nice, pleasant and funny.

I met 2 girls from Lithuania (Vaida and Aiste), with whom I had a crazy time (with Vaida), and 2 boys from Canada, that a friend of mine hosted. They were all very kind and easy going.

I hosted Alexe, Annie, Gabrielle and Jasmine, 4 canadian girls who were wonderful. I didn't have the time to know them very much, and the time was not very good for me, but I hope to see them again, in better conditions.

Summer 2010 :

I met Casea and her friend from USA when they visited Paris. I couldn't host them at all, but showed them a little bit of Paris at night, on the boards of the Seine, with music, drink... and cold whether ! Hope you enjoyed the time ;)

I was supposed to host 4 wonderful girls from Austria, Magda, Franzi, Julia and Sonja, but 2 two days before, I learnt that it would not be possible. I managed to host them in a friend's flat, and after that, they preferred to stay at the hotel to not disturb. They were very easy going and nice and I regret not hosting them properly. They sent me a postcard when they arrived in France, which I found very unusual, cool and fantastic. Also hope to see you again !

I hosted Mari, Gabi, Grace and Judita from Lithuania. The girls were not only easy going, but so kind, gentle, affectionate, funny, happy, charming... that we all made us family and swore to finish a song we began to write by the Seine. I was very sad when they left, but I think we'll meet again soon.

I hosted Karolina, Lucyna and Kasia from Poland for one night in my flat. They were very nice and funny. I had a great talk with you girls and I hope to see you one day.

I hosted Vaida, her brother Tomas, her cousin Karolina and their friend Darius from Lithuania in my flat. They were very kind, warm and interesting people. I hope you enjoyed your stay in my place and see you one day in Lithuania or in Paris, if you come again ;)

I hosted Sarah one night she had to take a plane for London. There was a party in my flat, so I think she enjoyed the stay, even if she had to wake up early the day after ;) She's very nice, talkative, and interesting and you should accept hosting her because she's very easy going and open minded. See you one day Sarah !

2011 :

I Hosted Kristina, Tomáš, Zuzana and Tereza from Czech Republic.
We had really great times in "Le canaillou".
I don't how did you manage to wake up so early to visit Paris during the day :p

After that, Marketa, Vierka, Bejka came to my house from Czech Republic and Slovakia.
We laughed so much together, that my mouth still hurts :p

To finish, last but not least, Emilie, Nana and Cecilie came.
They loved to go out and come back early in the morning.
We had so much fun together that I can't forget it... even the walls in the kitchen ! ;) (there's still flour somewhere in the kitchen)
It was a real pain when they left the place...

So, who said CS was not fun? :p

Música, películas y libros

All of them (almost).
I sometimes read 3 books in a week, even if I don't have the time to.
I play the guitar, keyboards, flute, trumpet and sing.
I write and play music and theatre.
I dance.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Art and love.
The two experiences to have.
The two experiences to make immortal.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I could teach you how to laugh and cry and stop immediately.
I could teach you how to sing a song as a choir, even if you think you have the worst voice over the planet.
I could teach you how to play Hamlet without using any egg.
I could bore you with my bad plays on words, but I would always make it funny, even if it's not ;)

I would love to know the secret of life, that makes a lot of discussions to go on.
I would love to learn how to speak Icelandic and Danish.
I would love to know you, simply, and try to understand why we feel so lonely when we are so many to feel like it.
