About Me

I've got Peter Pan syndrome. I love traveling and photography.

I'm a native NYCer. I just graduated from Pace Univesity. Now that I'm not tied down anymore, I'm looking to explore the world and meet new people. Below are the places I've been to over the last 2 years. Looking to add all 195 countries and all 50 states to my list of places before I'm too old.

Travel log:

March 6-8, 2020: New Orleans
Ate at Deanies Seafood, got a special invite to a Vampire Speakeasy. Hit the Museum of Death and ate at Cafe Du Monde. Took a PG-13 haunted history tour. Next time going to the Rated R version.

January 12-16, 2020: Chicago
Traveled by Chicago Transit Authority (Purchase your 3-day pass at O'Hare before leaving). Visited Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (Navy Bootcamp). Ate at Jims Original, Greek Town, and Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. I met a bartender in a dive bar that gave me a list of restaurants to go visit. Will be making a second trip up there soon.

August 13-21, 2019: Vancouver, Canada
Wild ride. Keep off East Hastings cause its known as Skid Row. Open drug use, lots of vagrants, and homeless. Visited Steveton which is amazing. It was an old fishing port that was converted into a tourist area. If you come here, make sure to stop off at Ichiro Japanese Restaurant In Steveston. It has the most amazing Japanese food outside of Japan. Down the block is a place called D Original Sausage Haus. The homemade Slim Jims are TO DIE FOR. The Simon Frasier University campus is amazing. It's like a city in itself. There is the 9'O Clock gun right outside the aquarium. It arms itself at 8:59 when the red light starts flashing and *BOOM*, it shoots off exactly at 9PM every night. Wish I stayed in Vancouver another week.

August 21-28, 2019: Alaska Cruise
Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, College Fjord, Whittier, Anchorage
Skagway has The Red Onion which is a bar/restaurant, but back in the gold rush days, it was an active brothel. Actresses dressed in boudoir give tours for $10 each. Totally worth the ride. There is also a train that takes you from the cruise port all the way up the mountain. Its super fun and informative. Glacier Bay was magnificent, but be sure to go soon because half the glaciers have melted away already. Eat at the Mooses Tooth in Anchorage, best pizza in Alaska.

July 4-7, 2019: Toronto
Found a Craigslist ad looking for a +1 to drive up to Toronto. I answered the ad, they said YES and off I went. I rode the local buses and came across a barbecue pit in an empty car lot. Being the adventurer I am, I made a pitstop there. I'm so glad I did. Best barbecue I ever had. I also met this power couple and their dog Lucas. He was such a sweetheart. Found so many good food places to eat at. WIll go back soon.

March 15, 2019
Lovely walking city if you stay within the city of Salem. Key visits: The Salem Witch House, Ghost walking tours, The Peabody Museum, Bit Bar, the movie theater and Thai Place. The museums and tours are literally tourist traps, but go anyway. They make you feel young again. Bit Bar is an oldschool arcade with BOOZE. There are some odd people in there, but they are very welcoming. The town movie theater has ancient projector equipment inside which is great. Its a treasure of a spot. Poke in even if you don't go see a movie. Thai place is like you just stepped into Thailand. The decor is authentic and everyone that works inside is Thai. Grandma makes all the food so you're definitely getting the best. .

January 4-13, 2019: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
Long story...I bought a plane ticket to Punta Cana and didn't realize it was the wrong spot. I had a chance to fix my mistake, but I didn't. I decided to learn how the local bus system worked and navigated my way across the country. I'm glad I did. I have all my limbs, I didn't get robbed, and I met a bunch of kickass people. Downside was my blood pressure went through the roof because the food was so rich. Go visit Jesus on the hill. Puerto Plata cigar club is amazing. The owner is American and the place is really chill.
