Hi everybody!
I'm Tom, French architect of 32yo. My partner, Amber, is a 29yo Taiwanese cook.
We are in Australia since more than a year, and for at least few years more under Working Visa.
When we are not working, we enjoy travelling around, close to Sydney (Australia is amazing...) or far away (... as are many places!), meeting new people, trying new experiences, or just eating good food :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As hosted, we believe it's one of the best way to be in the culture of a new country! Much easier to meet new people than in a hostel room.
As host, we are glad to share our cultures and tips about where we live...

Interests

Many things... Hiking and cycling trips; camping; travels; playing the violin; photography; architecture; board games; quotes; cinema; cooking (sincerely, I'm good at making crepes and desserts! And Amber is very good for everything else ^^)...

Music, Movies, and Books

As music, except rap et rnb, I think I can listen many, many things! My favourites artists are Johnny Clegg, Lindsey Stirling, Muse, Bond, Celtas Cortos, Coldplay, The Corrs, The Cranberries, Franz Ferdinand, Ska-P, Hams Zimmer, Idir...
As movies, we can talk about Gladiator, Slumdog Millionaire, Pirates of the Caribbean, Blood Diamond, Fast and Furious, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, The Island... All movies not too slow and which can bring something to the mind!
As books, Terry Pratchett would be the first! Then, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, and many European comics (Lanfeust, Ythak, Largo Winch, Thorgal...)
