About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just smile and be happy :)
ABOUT ME
Glad, forthcoming, and most of all curious to meet new people.
I like adventures, particularly if their in the outdoors and involve climbing, kayaking, hiking, or mountain biking.
With that being said, a night out with beer and laughter or a home cooked dinner with wine should never be underestimated!
I love to learn from and listen to anybody to challenge the way I perceive the world around me because I think understanding of each other's worlds is the best way to reach peace.
Sometimes my travels can be quite spontaneous so if I contact you last minute doesn't mean that I'm just looking for a place to crash. I genuinely care about my hosts!
PHILOSOPHY
"Smile is like a boomerang" quote a sticker found during my first Chouchsurfing experience.
"Live, laugh, learn, and love" I know it might sound cliché, but really, those things are important to me.
Spend your money wisely. Material things bring the least happiness if you compare it to great relationships and memorable adventures. At least I think so.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I consider myself new to the community and is still trying to find the areas where I can contribute it the best way. Until then I try to participate in any way possible, the last thing I want is that you feel that I don't appreciate your hospitality. I really do!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I became acquainted with Couchsurfing the summer of 2013 while I was traveling through Europe. I met four French girls we connected very well so I travelled with them for a while. They had made an appointment with a host and luckily he could host me as well. All six of us had a great time together, we cooked him a meal and he showed us parts of Lubiana (the capital of Slovenia). It always makes me happy when I think back on that time which is why I Couchsurf.
Interests
Initially you should know that I like to talk and discuss literally anything that is on your mind. In other words, I like to widen my horizon.
With that being said, with regard to academics, I really enjoy rhetoric/public speaking, however my actual field of study is International Business because I hope to be able to travel the world as a profession some day.
When I don't have my head dug deep in text books, I really enjoy the great outdoors and in particular doing sports here. Cooking delicious and healthy meals is also a favorite occupation of mine.
And just to state the obvious, I'm always interested in having fun of course :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste of music all depends on my mood and the situation but I am particular keen on RnB/Soul (Frank Ocean, Alt-J amongst others), I like hip-hop and rap when I'm running, and my favorite CD in my car is The Beatles #1.
With that being said - I am always openminded to new types of artists and styles and I have lately gotten into indie pop.
Most of the book that I read has one or another kind of learning objective and my favorite book so far is probably "Thinking fast and slow" that explores the human psychology of decision making and rationality. I've read it twice.
I also really enjoy podcasts. RadioLab, which I highly recommend, was the first podcast that I ever subscribed to. Today frequent various providers like Planet Money, Invisibilia, Freakonomics, as well as a couple of Danish podcasts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled for 3,5 moths through Australia and Nepal which gave me numerous of great experiences including diving on the Great Barrier Reef, Sky Diving, hiking in the Himalayas, and volunteered at a children's home as well as at an organic farm.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to know one thing about everything and and everything about one thing so teach me what you please!
Personally I have 6 years experience of self taught photography, know some delicious salad recipes, and know how to compose a speech.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've travled a fair bit, so I have stories form Australia, Nepal, Peru, the States (and in particular the south), a considerable amount of European countries as well as Denmark of course.
I know how to cook so I'd be glad to share a Danish meal with you :-)
