Overview
About Me
I consider myself a seeker and most people describe as quite unconventional. I seek for alternatives to our modern lifestyle, the limitations of my body and my comfort zone, philosophical answers and good wine ;-)
You can find me working as an engineer, taking literature classes, doing triathlon or just staring at the stars.
I stay content most easily when i get in touch with nature whether its hiking on trails of the Schwäbische Alb or cycling all over Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use travelling as a way to get to know the beautiful world I live in. That's why I love getting to know people as well and to get inspired by them. And I think everybody is inspiring in their own way! So being hosted and hosting myself is a great way to enrichen both my travels and everyday life.
Interests
Nature - No place I'd rather be...
Sports - Fresh air and getting my heartrate up
Reading - Helps me to relax and be inspired
Cooking - Both indoor and outdoor preparing healthy and nutritious meals
Music - If I had talent I would play an instrument myself but I was damned to just listening to good music ;-)

My current top 3 of

Books - Into the Wild, Walden, Die Entdeckung der Langsamkeit
Music - too many to name 3, but I enjoy classical music as well as pop and rock...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most wonderful experience I had was a trip from Hamburg to the polar circle and Lofoten on my bicycle without phone and money. No time constraints and never knowing where I would sleep and what I would find to eat meant absolute freedom to me. I was so amazed by both nature and people!
Countries I’ve Visited
