About Me

Dear World,

I love learning languages and meeting people that have different backgrounds to mine. I've lived in Germany for more than six years now, I've been studying and enjoying the company of all the lovely people that I've met, suffering every now and then mainly in winter. My biggest passion is learning languages, I love cooking as well, both are things I started when I was about 17-18. I had non of that in my childhood and teenager years.

I'm happy to teach what I know to other people. I've been spanish teacher and I'm happy everytime somebody asks me to teach them some spanish, or whatever else I may be able to teach.

I enjoy people that enjoy eating, that's why cooking for them makes me happy. If you're hosting me or I'm hosting you, we're surely going to have a cooking evening at home.

When I travel I love getting to know the day to day life of the people I visit. That is for me the most valuable expirience given that the main sighseeing spots are somethig that I can always see again, if I find nobody to hang out with, and nothing better to do. Sightseeing is not as exciting as interacting with new people in a new place.

I enjoy walking in places I don't know, it can be a new city, a small town. I like all the new inputs I get doing that, the small details some locals are maybe missing out, because they're there everyday. Something else I enjoy doing is going to food markets and see what locals buy, all the colors a food market offers. And getting to eat something myself as well.

I believe, that we have a ton of things to learn from each other. That's why we should openly interact with more and more new people, to better understand other perspectives and get out of our bubble.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I'm mostly looking forward to the people I'll meet and not to a lifeless sterile hotel room. And I'm happy to offer that to the people that are coming to the place I live in.
