About Me

Hi, we are Thomas & Anna!

We are a young danish couple (both 20 years old), who are travelling around Europe by train for two months. 🌞

We are both adventures and eager to meet new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We would both love to meet local people and learn about different cultures! We have mostly been living in hostels and thus met other travellers, but with couch surfing we can connect and interfere more with the specific place and people, which we are very eager to!

Interests

We both play a little bit of music. Thomas has hitchhiked a lot and Anna has travelled since she was very young. We both have the love for travelling in common.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: we both listen to many different genres, but Anderson.Paak and Bon Iver are some of our favourite artists.
We both brought one book each on this trip, and Anna is currently reading The Cider House Rules by John Irving, and Thomas is reading Fight Club (but that’s not going so well;)).

We love getting new inputs and recommendations by people we meet along the way - hopefully we can share some with you! 📚

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We love hiking in the nature and exploring new cities, and so far we have visited 10 countries and climbed 2 mountains during our trip 🌍

Teach, Learn, Share

A big part of the danish culture is “hygge”, of which we are both experts:)) Roughly translated this means having a cozy time, and we promise to bring that into the home of our host!

Another part of our home country is, of course, the danish language - which is quite difficult;) But we’ll gladly teach you some basic phrases and words to help you learn some of the basics.

We are both very interested in environmental issues (among many other global topics), and we love to have interesting conversations about such topics, and hopefully learn from each other’s different insights!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are not master chefs, but we both enjoy cooking and finding innovative recipes! Furthermore, we would love to share travelling stories, discuss political topics and anything you’re interested in!
