About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world on the most amazing way, with locals!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 20 year old boy. I Live in Schelle, a village near Antwerp (12km). This is a rather small village, connected to Antwerp by bus (40 mins) and in the week also by train (20 mins). I'd love to hang out and grab a beer.
Every sunday afternoon, I go to the local youthmovement to hang out with many other kids/guys/girls from my neighbourhood. This is a volunteering occupation. It's common in Belgium but I noticed it's not so common in other countries. It's a very easy system. Children are divided into groups based on their age. Every group has a few leaders, these are young adults who finished the last group. These leaders prepare activities for these children with the goal to have as much fun as possible. This happens every sundayafternoon from 2pm to 5pm. I'm now doing my 3th year as a leader of one of the groups.
I also try to sport on a regular base. I'm not sporting in a competition for the moment though looking for a nice sport to practice. As long as this search takes, I'll keep myself busy with running, swimming and sometimes some cycling. In the winter, I'd like to go skieing.
I live around 5 kms of Tomorrowland but sadly I'm not home this year so I can't meet on the event itself. However I might be able to help with informations about locations or some extra info if wanted.
If you have any questions about me, feel free to ask with a personal message.
PHILOSOPHY
Hakuna Matata
Live your life like you want to live it yourself but do it smiling. A laugh makes life so much nicer and people will be more friendly to you when you smile to them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now my participation will be restricted to go couchsurfing. I can't host but I will be glad to help people out finding a spot or taking people for a drink.
From the moment I won't be living with my parents anymore, I'll probably have a couch for surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'll be visiting London in July and this will be my first couchsurf experience. I'm looking forward to it!!
Interests
I am interested in a lot. I like to listen to people who have an interest where I've never heard of. I'm not so good in talking about my own interests, I prefer listening to other peoples interests. I don't know why but I guess it's because you can learn new awesome things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I think I'm an all-rounder on this aspect. I don't have a specific style in movies or music, if only it's enjoyable ;-) For the moment I'm watching House (5th season) and Breaking Bad (1st season). I'm also willing to see Game of Thrones but that'll have to wait until I finish House or Breaking Bad.
I'm not really into books. What doesn't mean I don't read books. I really enjoyed the books of Dan Brown and the Stieg Larsson trilogy but I only read when I'm on vacation, through the year I barely read books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled through Italy for 12 days with school. We visited Pisa, Rome, Florence, Pompeii, Venice, Assisi, ... This was one of the most intense and awesome trips I made.
Climbing the Mont Ventoux by bike
Looking over the 'gorge du Verdon' in France
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm willing to learn as much as possible of foreign locations I visit. This can go from culture to history to partying.
I'm also willing to give people these experiences over places I've been already. Or at least try to do that :)
Countries I’ve Visited
