I'm a 25-year-old sound engineer, songwriter, and music lover. I like doing things outside, and for that, Halifax is a perfect spot. I like sports, eating, and drinking. I like fun. Half-English, Half-Croatian (do you know how to speak Croatian??). Dual-citizen (Canada, UK). I keep trying to get into surfing but the Atlantic ocean is too damned cold up here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel and meet travellers. I love my adopted home of Halifax, and am still discovering the rest of Nova Scotia...and the rest of the world! I'm sure you would love Halifax - it's a small town, but the biggest city East of Quebec. And the most bars per capita in Canada.
I like to experience new places and cultures and things and music. I'm sure we'll get along if you like fun. To me, travelling is more about the people (and food, have I mentioned I love food?) than the place. Sharing adventures, making new friends.
I've been to Europe a few times, fortunately, but Croatia is still next on my list. I would love to learn the language before my grandparents get too old. My dad's house is still there, vacant, and I might go help the neighbours farm in exchange for meals and language!
Beyond Croatia, I think South America is next on the list, a grand tour of it. Food is my favourite thing and on the east coast of Canada it can be pretty hard to find South American food... also I could lose myself in Latin music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tubed for 4 hours down the Aare River into Bern, drinking beers. Toured CERN. Snowboarded the Rockies and the Alps. Played hockey against teams from Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.
